When implanting intracorneal ring (ICR) segments, surgeons benefit from the unique advantages of the VisuMax® femtosecond laser. The ICR option from VisuMax ensures that creation of the corneal tunnels for the implantation of intracorneal ring (ICR) segments is done quickly and easily, in the precise position and depth. The wide range of adjustable parameters and the various combinations available, give surgeons a unique degree of flexibility. VisuMax femtosecond laser can create tunnels with an arc angle of less than 360°. With regard to segments of between 90° and 270°, partial tunnels can be designed individually, with precision and a high degree of flexibility. This means that individual intracorneal ring segments can also be implanted without creating unnecessary incisions in the corneal tissue. Tunnels can also be created for mixed ring segments with different geometries.

Please be aware that Procedure Packs are sterile products. The expiry date of the Procedure Packs is usually minimum 12 months from the shipment date.
